I used to live in Kharkiv, Ukraine. I am a Japanese man, but it was my first experience of war. Ukraine is still at war. The house I lived in was destroyed by a missile attack from Russia, so I evacuated to Japan. Every day and every night, air raid sirens rang out, and I lived in fear of dying. Many Ukrainians were killed by Russia. In the Ukrainian town of Bucha, Russian soldiers occupied houses and stole money and valuables, and the wives who were at home were raped, stripped naked, and killed by Russian soldiers. It is a sad memory.
